Spent 2.5 weeks (intensive), and have have listened through I & II and some part of III, and can only say it's good. There are several problems with parts of it, bad sound (humming, and missing pieces), but overall it's OK, and I used my iPOD to listen...

People NEED to realise this is not the Portuguese language and the way is SHOULD be spoken, it is quite pathetic how people would rather learn this rubbish then the real spoken word. it is like saying i am going to learn irish English instead of the standard... I choose the Brazilian Portuguese, since it is the most spoken Portuguese worldwide, after all they have 210 million brazilians!

@JHaxoR, like many portuguese speaking people from around the world, i have a accent.
My portuguese is not from lisbon its from the azores, its a little different but still portuguese and that is what makes all the portuguese nations great including our brazillian, angolan(my place of birth) and other portuguese speaking brothers.
Portugal is Brazil, Brazil is Portugal.
And that goes for the colonies aswell.

READ THIS! Forget about all these retardeds who failed learning Portuguese. I am a NATIVE Brazilian, and I can assure you will learn REAL Portuguese language from this stuff, and I understand everything perfectly from this Pimsleur course. My girlfriend is a foreigner, and she learns Portuguese through this course, and her Portuguese is quite impressive! :)

I'm brazilian and I just downloaded some of the last lessons to hear and to give my opnion. In fact the persons speaking are brazilian and the portuguese they speak are the real brazilian style.
I did that to see how was the approach of Pimsleur because I'm learning italian by Pimsleur's lessons and i wanted to make sure it's a trusted source.
So keep the hard work!
